Relocating your office is exciting, but it can also be stressful and overwhelming. Here are some tips on how to make sure your next relocation goes smoothly:
Make a plan

The first step is to write down all the things you need to do in order for your office move to go smoothly. This list should include things like packing up the office, moving all of your belongings from one location to another, unpacking them at their new home and setting up furniture where appropriate.
Use this list as your guide when making decisions about how much time each task will require–for example: if there are 10 desks in the old office space and only five in the new one (and if those five are on wheels), then figuring out where everyone will sit after they arrive at work will probably take less time than unpacking every single desk individually would have taken!
Set up a schedule for packing, and divide your items into categories like work documents, personal items and electronics. You may also want to label each box with its contents so that they’re easy to identify when they’re unpacked in the new location.
